Start with one part

Nobody sensibly moves a recurring order to a new supplier on the strength of a website. So don't. Send us one awkward part — the bracket that keeps breaking, the jig you are about to machine, the spare nobody stocks any more. For the price of a single print you will see the finish, the accuracy, how fast we turn it round and whether we tell you the truth when something is wrong with the file.

If that goes well, the second order is where it starts paying. The file is already set up and proven on the machine, so repeats are quicker and cost less than the first one did.

Who this actually suits

PETG on FDM is genuinely good at some things and genuinely wrong for others. The businesses we do repeat work for tend to look like this:

Good fit

  • Engineering and manufacturing — jigs, fixtures, drill guides, soft jaws, machine guards. Consumable tooling that wears out and gets reordered.
  • Labs and research — sample holders, racks, mounting adaptors. Small, frequent, specific.
  • Repair trades — appliance, caravan, mobility, marine. Obsolete plastic parts are your daily problem.
  • Installers and signage — brackets and standoffs that do not exist off the shelf.
  • Agriculture and equine — machinery fittings and stable hardware that keep failing.

Poor fit

  • Anything needing tolerances tighter than about ±0.3 mm — that is a machining job and we will say so.
  • Structural or load-bearing parts in vehicles or buildings.
  • Food-contact, medical or safety-critical components.
  • Volumes in the thousands, where a mould tool becomes the cheaper answer.
  • Materials that are not PETG. We run one, deliberately, and run it well.

What an account gets you

Batch sizes1 to 50 units as standard. Larger runs by arrangement — tell us the schedule and we will tell you honestly whether printing is still the right process.
PaymentCard as normal, or invoice terms for pre-arranged batch and repeat work. Ask and we will set it up.
Repeat runsWe keep your files and the proven print setup, so a reorder is a message rather than a fresh quote.
Lead time2–3 working days for typical batches. Larger runs get a real date, not an optimistic one.
CollectionFree from Mildenhall. For anyone in west Suffolk it is usually a day quicker than the post.
TrackingEvery job has a reference and a live status page, with an email at each stage. You get a record for your own paperwork without asking for one.
FailuresIf a print fails on our side it is reprinted at our cost. That risk is ours, not yours.

No CAD department? That is normal

Most businesses that need a part do not have a 3D model of it, and never will. We have a designer on the team for exactly this. Send photographs with a ruler or caliper in shot, a sketch on the back of a job sheet, or the broken original itself, and we will quote to draw it and print it.

Once it is drawn, it is yours and it exists forever — which means the part that has failed three times in two years stops being a crisis and becomes a two-day reorder.

Where we are, and who we already work with

We are in Mildenhall, which puts us within an easy drive of Bury St Edmunds, Newmarket, Thetford, Ely and Cambridge. Being local matters more for trade work than it does for a one-off: you can drop a part in, we can talk through a fitting problem on the phone, and there is one person who knows your job rather than a ticket queue.

We are a three-person workshop, so you will deal with the people doing the work. That is the whole proposition. If you want a national portal with a login and an account manager, there are plenty; we are the other thing.

Want the details on paper? Ask and we will send a one-page capability sheet — equipment, materials, real tolerances, and a plain list of what we turn down. Useful if you need to put it in front of someone else.

Send us the awkward one

The part that keeps breaking, or the job you have been putting off. One print tells you more than any sales conversation.
